A new kitten will not always turn your world upside-down, but it is hard to imagine what it would be like without our collection of furry companions now.

It is often said that few people can limit themselves to only one Ragdoll and it was true for us as we started our 'family' with two litter brothers, Rupert and Ferdinand.

Ferdi and Rupert were bought as pets and we certainly had no idea that Ferdi would turn out to be the first Ragdoll to win his class at the Supreme Cat Show, but that is exactly what he managed to do when in 1997 he won 'Best of Provisional Breeds Neuter'.

With the Ragdolls finally achieving Championship status a few years later Ferdi retired from showing and we moved into breeding. With the arrival of Ellandbee Karenza 'Kazzi' we were able to get off to a great start with a wonderful litter of four beautiful kittens.

From a subsequent litter we have kept Ragtails Athene and she will be having her first litter during 2007.

So here we are now with five Ragdolls in the house and Kazzi is busy working on her second litter so it will soon be time for a few more to arrive !

Much as we enjoy showing, the best part about owning Ragdolls is that they are wonderful pets and an essential part of the family.
